The subject of my diploma work is my Italian origins, and the disappearance of dialects and family traditions. In this book, I wanted to share the everyday life of an ordinary family in Italy through my various passions, such as photography and ceramics. Each chapter opens with a proverb in the Piedmont dialect and an object that I have made to represent the different themes. I created the font used for the dialect sentences from my grandfather's signet ring, which bears his initials. It's a hybrid typeface because it's made up of several inspirations, in my own image, with the mix of two countries and their traditions.
